Motzy ("we", "our", "us") operates the Motzy mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication data when you create an account via Microsoft Entra ID or Google.
Vehicle Information: License plate numbers, VIN, title numbers, registration expiration dates, vehicle make/model/year, and odometer readings.
Documents: Photos of registration cards, insurance certificates, and other vehicle documents you upload. These are processed via OCR to extract relevant data.
Connected Services: If you connect your Tesla or other vehicle manufacturer account, we access odometer, battery level, and vehicle identification data with your explicit authorization.
Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never store your credit card numbers. DMV renewal payments are made directly on state DMV portals — Motzy never handles your payment card details for renewals.
Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States. Sensitive data including OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. Database connections use TLS. All API traffic uses HTTPS.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide our services, and with state DMV portals when you authorize a renewal.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at privacy@motzy.ai. You can disconnect vehicle manufacturer integrations and delete uploaded documents from within the app.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Vehicle and document data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.
Motzy is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
